The team spent time reflecting on who we want to be versus who we are becoming. Through that reflection, it became clear that we needed to be more intentional about honoring our vision. To do that, we were adamant about pushing more culture and education through our events. While there is still a strong social aspect to everything we do, we believe social spaces can also create meaningful educational moments and serve as a bridge across the diaspora. To simplify, expect more learning moments!
We launched a membership program to provide affordable access to our events, making it easier for members to connect and engage with the community.
We limit each business to one promotion per quarter, which may include a feature on our stories and socials or the opportunity to showcase at our events. All promotions require prior approval and must meet our conduct standards. All promotion must also fit our branding style to be viewed on our social media channels.
